Bliss is an always cheerful, energetic and lively dog. She is vigilant but understands very well that when our B&B season starts again here in France, she does not have to bark at all the strange guests who come in and out of our accommodation.

​

She is quite picky about who she trusts immediately and those who she doesn't, but in the end she accepts everyone. She is extremely loyal to us and would prefer to be with us all day (and night). She likes to play with a ball and hide and seek. She would also make an excellent sniffer dog.

She finds stranger dogs very exciting, and we are still working on that. She gets along well with our cats, but she chases stranger cats out of her garden. Bliss has a hunting instinct anyway, so if a deer is spotted, it's YOHOE!!!!!!! And she will be gone if we don't intervene in time. Fortunately, she always comes back quickly, because ultimately she has more attention for her owners than for the deer.

On a leash and in a busy environment, such as a city, Bliss is a very calm dog. Even in a restaurant, she eventually falls asleep. We find we can actually take her anywhere really, but equally she can be left alone.
